Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects throughout the world. Charity Navigator has rated The Rotary Foundation with 4 stars (their highest rating) for 13 consecutive years.
What projects does The Rotary Foundation Support?
- Global Grants for international projects (maximum $15,000 from district and minimum $15,000 to maximum $200,000 from global fund)
- District Grants for local community or international projects (2021/22 – $3500, 2022/23 – $2,000-$5,000) in 2021/22 $191,281 in District Community Grant money was awarded to clubs in District 5020
- Scholarship Programs (District, Global and Peace Scholarships)
- Polio Plus Program (we are over 11 months without a case of wild poliovirus in Pakistan and only four cases in Afghanistan) – Down from 140 cases in 2020 of Poliovirus in the world, in 2021
What impact can one donation have? (US dollars)
- For as little as 60 cents, a child can be protected from polio
- $50 can provide clean water to help fight waterborne illness
- $500 can launch an antibullying campaign and create a safe environment for children

How does giving to The Rotary Foundation help my club?
- The more money donated to the Rotary Foundation the more money there is to support grants for projects undertaken by clubs
- The clubs with the highest percentage of club members on Rotary Direct by May 1, 2022, will share in $4,000 prize money towards a club project. First prize is $2,500!
