SEQUIM NOON ROTARY HONORS STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

The Rotary Club of Sequim members were pleased to honor Sequim High School two students as September and October Students of the Month. Each student was introduced to the members by Mary Budke, Rotary Club of Sequim’s Youth Services Chair. The students shared a little of their personal and school histories, community service, future goals and a “fun fact” with club members. They are presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for their scholarship notebooks along with a letter recognizing their accomplishments.

September’s Student is Gabe Allen a 15 year old Freshman. He has a 4.0 GPA and his current favorite course and subject matter is Agricultural Science. He has been a Boys & Girls Club member for seven years and works as an intern and summer food staff.

October’s Student of the Month is Jordan Kidd a 17 year old Junior. Jordan is a strong student and a varsity volleyball player.

Her current favorite class is Ag BioMed.

The Rotary Club members are a community service group and have been gifting Adaptive Bikes to physically challenged students in the Sequim school district and enjoy supporting other local, regional and international service projects.
