The UD5020 website has had great reach, and I’m honored by the global responses and encouragement.
I think it is important to clarify the new format will show a single area in multiple areas. Not everyone has time to read every article, or a reader might be looking for a specific inspirational article. An article will appear in as many categories to which it applies.
The following categories exist:
- CLUB NEWS
- DISTRICT NEWS
- HELPING LOCALLY
- HELPING GLOBALLY
- AREAS OF FOCUS
- EVENTS
If a Rotarian is looking for ideas on how they could help locally, they would look in the “helping locally” section. If they were looking for projects or inspiration on a global scale, reading articles in the “helping globally” section is the perfect solution. Even if someone was looking for ideas that directly apply to Rotaries Areas of Focus, they would look in “Areas of Focus.”
UD5020 is a great way to keep up with what District 5020 is doing, and it is intended to be used as a membership tool. This is the best way to show what Rotary does to help communities, visually.
