THIS ISN’T YOUR TYPICALLY ROTARY GEAR

1905 Gear was the brainchild of Nick Johnson, past president of the Poulsbo Rotary Club. Nick is a “young guy” in the demographics of Rotarians. He had this wild idea that while the tried-and-true polo shirts, button-up, and sweaters might work for the traditional Rotarian, the younger ones (like him) also need something that fits their generation.

In his mind, traditional Rotary apparel has a very solid business professional appeal. However, there is also a need for a different vibe for Rotarians who favor snappy t-shirts, hoodies, and other casual gear that feature bright colors, bold prints, and big words.

And so he created 1905 Gear.

The “1905” name honors the year Paul Harris founded rotary. “Gear” is a clothing term more closely associated with a younger generation (not to mention it brings to mind the Rotary Mark of Excellence). This gear can be worn casually around town, at club work parties, in the gym, or just around the house. It screams, “I’m a Rotarian and proud of it!”

In a time where community service clubs are losing members, appealing to the next generation of community service-minded individuals is even more important.

Now, let’s be clear – This gear doesn’t just appeal to those under 40. Rotarians of every age can show their Rotary pride by rocking their 1905 Gear tees and hoodies!

And it gets even better…

100% of the profits from 1905 Gear go back into Rotary programs.

That’s right. Every colorful t-shirt is helping to spread service above self in the world.

1905 Gear is volunteer run by Nick and several other Poulsbo Rotarians. Every penny is donated to the Poulsbo Rotary Foundation, a certified 501 (c3).

The gear can be purchased by anyone and ships all around the world. The ability to spread the Rotary message in a way that fits the growing demographic of this outstanding organization is vital to its sustainability and influence.

Check out all the gear at www.1905Gear.com and get “geared up” to have fun, show your pride, and do more good in the world.
