INTRODUCING THE MEMBERSHIP SOCIETY FOR NEW MEMBER SPONSORS

In July of 2021, Rotary International launched the Membership Society for New Member Sponsors to recognize those who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment and success in growing Rotary membership. Any Rotarian who has sponsored 25 or more prospective members is eligible for the Membership Society, and the program recognizes all qualified new member sponsors what have been reported to Rotary.

To date only 757 Rotarians worldwide have received this recognition. There are four levels of recognition, and they are as follows:

  • Bronze level: Sponsored 25-29 members
  • Silver level: Sponsored 30-49 members
  • Gold level: Sponsored 50-74 members
  • Platinum level: Sponsored 75 or more members

We have two distinguished District 5020 Rotarians who have earned this special recognition. First, is Vicki Browning, who is a 17-year member of the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island. She has sponsored 30 members earning her the Silver level recognition. Following close behind Vicki, is Past District Governor Tom Carroll who is an 11-year member of the Gateway-Thurston County Rotary Club. Tom has sponsored 29 members and has achieved the Bronze level. Congratulations, Vicki and Tom! Thank you for making a difference and helping us grow Rotary.
