We’re back! The Taste of the Canal is now The Hood Canal Summerfest and Car Show!
Belfair— March 2 —The 2020 and 2021 Taste of the Canal were canceled due to COVID. After two years off the North Mason Rotary Club has announced they are bringing back the much-loved event and revamping it to be bigger and better! “The name change was made to better reflect the times and event. Restaurants, unfortunately, are facing hardships so our focus will be on other aspects of the Hood Canal,” said Chris Ladner, Summerfest chair. This year’s event will feature a car show, live music, art exhibit, beer garden, food trucks, vendors and more.
Fun on the Canal Returns
The event returns to Belfair State Park on August 13, 2022. “This waterfront location is the perfect place for fun in the sun, and to see some awesome cars,” said Leanne Sanchez, NM Rotary Club President.
Event details
In keeping with tradition, the event will be held on the second Saturday in August so mark your calendars for August 13, 2022. The North Mason Regional Fire Authority Pancake Breakfast will kick off the event as in the past. Breakfast will be served
at 7:30 a.m. and the Summerfest gates will open at 10 a.m. Vendor information for booths and the car show spaces will be posted shortly on the club’s website www.northmasonrotary.
