The Rotary Action Plan can contribute to a vital club project and a vital Rotary future.
Last year, the District Vocational Service committee produced, and the Gig Harbor Rotary Vocational Service committee directed, a video titled, The Promise of Vocation.
This video focuses on the Rotary Action Plan (RI) . The Rotary Action Plan serves to point Rotary in the direction of increasing impact (data-driven, better connected, consideration of legacy), expanding reach (through members, participants, and partners), enhancing participant engagement (getting Rotarians off the sidelines, fostering engagements across decades and continents), and increasing adaptability (inventiveness, entrepreneurialism, resilience, and optimism). Each project highlighted in The Promise of Vocation is an expression of how Rotarians, Rotarian club committees, and Rotary Clubs can pursue the RI Action Plan.
The Rotary Action Plan is a reasonable approach to helping Rotary Clubs become all they can be. Check out The Promise of Vocation on the District 5020 website in the Vocational Service section under What We Do. The video (27 minutes in length) is a good food-for-thought for enhancing participant engagement, increasing impact, expanding reach, and increasing the ability to adapt, especially for projects.
The Rotary Action Plan expresses both organizational emphasis and specific targets. Read the full Rotary Action Plan at https://my.rotary.org/en/learning-reference/about-rotary/action-plan.
